Pyruvate can definitely help you with weight loss as well as fat loss.  What really counts is body composition and the ratio of  body fat to lean body mass (muscle).  After all, your weight loss objective should be to look better, feel better and live a healthier lifestyle.

Weight loss is important, but fat loss is the real key to achieving overall optimum wellness including cardiovascular health.  Often times when people take pyruvate the proper way (combined with a healthy balanced diet and moderate exercise) they lose fat but may see only a moderate change on the scale.  The reason for limited weight loss is usually because their body picks up muscle tone from exercise which, although it enhances fat loss, counters absolute reduction in actual pounds on the scale.  The primary reason is that muscle (lean body mass) weighs more than fat.  In other words, you could lose 10 pounds of fat and gain 3 pounds of muscle and not notice much of a change or loss on the scale.  To really see the difference in fat loss, pay attention to the mirror and how loosely your clothes begin to fit.  Melt fat and trim those inches...that's what really counts!
