The meeting began at 5:00pm it was short and sweet.

The 3rd annual Polar Bear Dive was fun but very cold. We did have a great bunch of cheerleaders in the crowd. Donnie, Terri, Debbie, David from Tulsa and David Christian, Gene, along with the campers up above from Arkansas cheering us on. The water temperature was 45 degrees, very muddy and the lake was up about 5 feet from normal from all of the recent heavy rains. Since water visibility was not good we decided the 1st place winner would be the person who could stay down the longest. Second place would go to the person who stayed down the next longest and so forth. Steve won 1st place by staying down 20 minutes and picked out a Tee shirt. Patricia won 2nd second place by staying down 15 minutes and picked the bag that holds dive mask, snorkel, and fins. Bonnie won 3rd place by coming up just before Patricia did and picked out a Tee shirt, 4th place went to Luther who picked out the ball cap. 5th and 6th place were a tie since Kasey and Teresa got in the water and went down under water for no more than a minute and went back to shore to warm up, they both won Tee shirt.

Kasey said Terry Scantlin is back in the states and will return to work on June 21, 2008.

The next campout on April 17th, 18th, and 19th, is scheduled for Lake Ft. Gibson at the Blue Bill campsite. The campsites that have been reserved thus far are 18 and 19.

The people that are seriously planning to go with Gene in October 2008 to Cozumel, Mexico are Teresa, Steve, Kasey, Donnie, Terri, Thomas and Patricia.

We all are still planning on camping at Lake Norfork, Arkansas, on July 11th, 12th, and 13th. Donnie said him and Rusty hasn't made the reservations yet, (due to some unexpected personal issues) but, will be getting this done before our next meeting.

No future date was set for the May 2008 meeting as we want to try and see if our president can attend. A date for May 2008 meeting will be sent out to everyone via E-mail when it has been decided upon.

The cooks were trying to get dinner ready to celebrate Teresa and Gene's birthday that evening so the ,eeting was adjourned at 5:15pm.

Per Terri Sawyer, we are unoffically now a "Camping and Diving Club" since most of our diving events evolve around weekend camping trips.

Camping out on April 4th, 5th, and 6th, at Strayhorn landing, the campsites that are reserved are 36, 37, 38 thus far. The 3rd annual Polar Bear Dive will be held April 5, 2008, at Strayhorn landing at 2:00pm. Prizes include 4 Tee shirts, a bag that holds dive mask, snorkel, and fins, and a hat, purchased on our trip to Cozumel, Mexico.

We unanimously decided to have our July 2008 meeting at lake Norfork on July 11th, 12th, and 13th. Rusty and Donnie are in charge of getting the campsites reserved and let the members know where and what location they have reserved.

Donnie suggested we hold our April meeting after the polar bear dive on April 5th, 2008. We all agreed that would be the best time to hold the meeting since most of the club would be in attendance.

The complimentary Pepperoni pizza we had at Johnnie V's was delicious. Meeting adjourned at 6:45pm.
